Rev. Dr. Carl E. Abrahamsen, Jr.
Carl was born into a Christian home on Long Island, NY and received Christ as a young boy with his father. He is a graduate of Hofstra College, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, New York Theological Seminary and Western Conservative Baptist Seminary. He has served five churches in NY, NJ, IL and CT as Senior Pastor over a 41 year period.

Since retirement in 1999, he has served five churches as Interim Pastor and has served an number of churches as supply minister. In retirement he has served as Pastoral Mentor with Vision New England. Carl and his wife, Grace live in West Hartford, CT and have 3 sons and 4 grandchildren. They are members of Valley Community Baptist Church in Avon, CT.

Karen Cupit
Karen Cupit was born in Hartford, CT in 1971 to a traditional Catholic family. During a time of service in the U.S. Army, where she met and married her husband, "T.C.", she was introduced to the Truth of Jesus. She writes, "On that day of salvation, during a sermon at Hilldale Baptist Church in Clarksville, Tennessee, it was like a bright light went on in my mind, and I knew that I finally found the Truth that I was searching for." That was in 1995. Ever since, she has been eagerly taking in the Word of God. She now lives in East Hartford, CT, and has 2 children, Megan and Michael, whom she homeschools.

Karen has authored a book entitled, "Chosen and Loved: Life as a Child of God". She has also cultivated a ministry to a nearby nursing home, and has written devotionals for a nationwide nursing home ministry called The SonShine Society.
Marcia LaReau
Marcia LaReau was born in 1953 during the Korean War. Her father served in the military and she received Christ at the Post Chapel at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL when she was in the eighth grade. Her formal education is primarily in music. She holds a B.M.E. from Iowa State University, an M.M. from Northwestern University, a Ph.D. from The Ohio State University and an Artist Diploma from The Hartt School of Music, University of Hartford, CT.

Marcia has taught in various universities for 25 years, she has conducted professionally, and worked within the corporate environment. She is a freelance conductor, composer/arranger and writer, living in Bloomfield, CT. She is a member of Valley Community Baptist Church in Avon, CT.
